Kicking off Ginger Chats with this inaugural story, Dana talks about her experience at a treatment center in Arizona after being diagnosed with anorexia while at college. She also explains why, as a psychologist, she encourages clients to share their own stories, both as a path towards healing for themselves and as a way to help others.

Bio: Chief Clinical Officer at Ginger, Dana Udall, PhD, oversees coaching, therapy and psychiatry. She has spent the past two decades helping individuals and groups make positive and enduring changes in their lives. Dana has worked in residential treatment centers, intensive outpatient programs, university counseling centers, and private practice. At the cornerstone of Dana’s work is her belief in the power of relationships to help people heal and grow. She is a licensed psychologist.
