Headspace Care is everyday emotional support, from skill-building resources to one-on-ones with coaches. We offer confidential, immediate care to guide you through life’s challenges.
Headspace Care Coaching
Connect with a coach one-on-one via private, text-based chat. Our coaches are carefully vetted and selected with >2 years of supervised experience, and they hold a master’s degree in a psychology-related field and/or a certification from an NBC-HWC-approved training program.
Schedule time to connect with a coach to work together in an ongoing way or for support in the moment.

Frequently asked questions
Coaching is a collaborative relationship where you and your coach work together to help you reach certain goals or navigate whatever you are going through. Coaching happens via private, in-app, text-based chats, and your coach provides support through ongoing guidance, tips, and tools to ensure progress.
Unlike therapy, coaching focuses on the present and what you want to accomplish in the future.
After selecting “Get Headspace Care” on the kp.org/coachingapps page, you will be authenticated as an eligible Kaiser Permanente member and directed to a Headspace Care landing page.
The landing page will ask a couple questions needed to complete the sign-up process. Once your sign-up is complete you will be sent a welcome email from Headspace Care containing instructions to download the app and a unique code giving you access.
Once you download the app and complete the sign-in steps, you’re ready to start chatting with a coach.
No. Emotional support coaching from Headspace Care is offered to Kaiser Permanente members at no cost.
After you complete your 90 days with Headspace Care, you will no longer be able to chat with a coach. You will continue to have access to your chat history as well as content available through the Headspace Care blog.
If you need additional support, you can reach out to our member support team to explore options for extending access. If you are still an active KP member, you can renew your 90-day access to Headspace Care every 365 days.
