Every time you receive a compliment — no matter how small — write it down in a piece of paper.
At the end of each day or week, look over the past compliments you've received.
We often dwell on the negative, especially at night or when alone. This exercise refocuses on the positive. Positive affirmations are a CBT tool that boost self-image and self-esteem.
